Casey Bader
Casey has been with Handel since 2000 and in 2006 moved into sales after gaining experience as a Project Manager and Director of Customer Relations. This customer experience has provided Casey with intimate knowledge of how RiteTrack meets the goals of several types of agencies. Currently Casey utilizes this knowledge to consult with potential customers on how RiteTrack can meet their needs, works with them through procurement and transitions the customer to Customer Relations as the implementation begins. When not pouring his heart and soul into Handel, Casey pours them into running, reading, spending time with his wife and two children and enjoying the outdoors at their cabin in the Snowy Range.

Ben Sims
Ben Sims is a Laramie native who spent much of his life here, graduating from both high school and the University of Wyoming in Laramie. After earning his degree in computer science, Ben headed off across the pond to Ireland for two years of travel around the country, living in various Irish cities. Ben's other travels include Alaska and his most romantic travel occurred in the summer of '07 when he was working in Denali National Park. One evening, under the midnight sun, he met a woman who later became his wife. Although he likes getting away once and a while, Ben enjoys the outdoors in Wyoming, especially while camping, hiking and mountain biking. We are enthused to have Ben here as part of our Customer Support Team.

Evan Binder
Evan was born in the sweltering deserts of Arizona, but after 25 years of living and camping in the area, he decided it wasn’t a challenge any more. (I mean, how much of a challenge could it be if you were doing it since age one?) So hearing about the bitter cold in Pennsylvania, he moved there for a while before making his way to Wyoming. Evan now resides in Laramie with his wife who is attending UW and is eagerly anticipating winter and multi-foot amounts of snow. Evan has become known at Handel as the Hulk and there are two theories on how this happened. The first is that our development team was microwaving the RiteTrack® framework, cooking up something special, and Evan walked in on the experiment and received a dose of configuration gamma rays. The other theory is that having two Evans in the company (Even Brande and Evan Binder) was too confusing, so with his boy-like looks of Lou Ferrigno, he has become our Hulk. When Evan is not “Hulking” out on the RiteTrack® code base, he enjoys biking, camping, hiking and kite flying.

Laura Baker
When Laura began working at Handel IT, it gave her a welcome homecoming back to Wyoming. Although she has lived in Texas, Colorado, and Mississippi, she considers Laramie her home. She has spent most of her career in risk management, property/casualty insurance, and mental health software development, with an emphasis in reporting, project management, and business analysis. She briefly explored (3 years) the world of engineering software development to hone her web product and textual searching project management skills. She counts herself as lucky to have had customers in the Fortune 1000 in addition to small residential treatment centers because it provided her with a wide range of business knowledge. She received her master’s of business administration from Texas Tech University, her bachelor’s of science in marketing from the University of Wyoming, and an associate’s degree in risk management. In her spare time, she enjoys cross-country and downhill skiing, hiking in the mountains, taking dance classes, and spending time with friends and family.

Sam Foust
Sam was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming and grew up in Pinedale—a town of just over 2,000 people in western Wyoming. Sam is attending the University of Wyoming where he is majoring in computer science. He is slated to graduate in the spring of 2012. Sam joined the Handel team as an intern, and through the experience he expects to expand his knowledge of the C# and .NET programming languages. He says that at Handel he enjoys a professional work environment, yet he feels as though he can still have fun while working and learning many new things. Sam enjoys snowboarding in the winter and whitewater kayaking in the summer. During thunderstorms, however, he tends to stay inside and away from trees because he was once struck by lightning. (This may have contributed to his electrifying personality!)

He enjoys Handel’s young employee base and the company’s flexibility and consideration for each employee in terms of the working environment and scheduling. When he has free time, Mike enjoys snowboarding, trying new things, reading philosophy, and spending time with friends. In 2011 he jumped off a 328-foot bridge in Baños, Ecuador with a rope and a harness where he enjoyed swinging like a pendulum under the bridge.

Tracey Rosenlund
Tracey was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, but lived on the East Coast from 1999–2005. She does not have a middle name because at birth her parents thought she was so wonderful and unique, she didn’t need one. (Middle names are for amateurs.) Her passion in life is to pursue a better and brighter future continually, and she is never satisfied with being stagnant. In addition to striving to provide her daughter a life she deserves and working full-time at Handel as a marketing assistant, she is attending the University of Wyoming to earn a degree in journalism. Three things she is most thankful for are her daughter, second chances and motivation. Her friends describe her as articulate, ambitious, intelligent and easy-going. The first thing people generally notice about her is her laugh—it is a robust laugh for a young woman. Think of a medieval king with a turkey leg in his mouth chortling at his jester and you get a good idea. When Tracey is not working or laughing heartily, she enjoys being outdoors (biking, camping, hiking, rock climbing and fishing) and going out with her friends and attending concerts.

Scott Patrias
Scott was born in Minneapolis, MN and his family moved to Laramie when he was only 3 years old. After graduating from Laramie High School, he joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska. Scott worked with munitions, which specifically included storage, maintenance and testing of air-to-air and air-to-ground missile systems. After his tour of duty he returned to Laramie and began working with the Albany County Sheriff's Office as a Detention Deputy. During his time working in the county jail, Laramie saw some of its highest profile cases in history, one of which even led to a movie remake that brought Hollywood right to Laramie. Scott then went on to earn a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Wyoming and relocated to Fort Collins, CO where he worked for the next 5 years as a software engineer for a company specializing in Six Sigma training and consulting. He also worked three years for a software company in Greeley, CO which specialized in accounting software for the petroleum-distribution industry that tracked retail and wholesale purchases and sales, inventory, and excise and sales tax reporting.
