Casey Bader, Vice President of Sales

Casey has been with Handel since 2000 and in 2006 moved into sales after gaining experience as a Project Manager and Director of Customer Relations. This customer experience has provided Casey with intimate knowledge of how RiteTrack meets the goals of several types of agencies. Currently Casey utilizes this knowledge to consult with potential customers on how RiteTrack can meet their needs, works with them through procurement and transitions the customer to Customer Relations as the implementation begins. When not pouring his heart and soul into Handel, Casey pours them into running, reading, spending time with his wife and two children and enjoying the outdoors at their cabin in the Snowy Range.

Josh Becker, Senior Project Manager

Josh grew up in Scottsbluff, Nebraska working on his family's farm. Upon graduating from high school, he came to the University of Wyoming and earned a bachelors degree in management of information systems with a minor in business administration. Josh enjoys long weekends back home, playing football, golf, poker and spending time with his friends on Steele Street. At Handel Josh helps out with custom configurations of RiteTrack and other support tasks.

Evan Binder -Sales Executive

Evan was born in the sweltering deserts of Arizona, but after 25 years of living and camping in the area, he decided it wasn’t a challenge any more. (I mean, how much of a challenge could it be if you were doing it since age one?) So hearing about the bitter cold in Pennsylvania, he moved there for a while before making his way to Wyoming. Evan now resides in Laramie with his wife who is attending UW and is eagerly anticipating winter and multi-foot amounts of snow. Evan has become known at Handel as the Hulk and there are two theories on how this happened. The first is that our development team was microwaving the RiteTrack® framework, cooking up something special, and Evan walked in on the experiment and received a dose of configuration gamma rays. The other theory is that having two Evans in the company (Even Brande and Evan Binder) was too confusing, so with his boy-like looks of Lou Ferrigno, he has become our Hulk. When Evan is not “Hulking” out on the RiteTrack® code base, he enjoys biking, camping, hiking and kite flying.

Frankie Clem, Deployment Specialist

Frankie comes to Handel and Laramie via London, San Diego, Sweden, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Washington DC and Cleveland Ohio.  She has spent all of her career in high-tech in a variety of positions from programmer to marketing to knowledge management.  With a masters in Business and a Doctorate in Educational Technology, Frankie brings a wide range of analytical experience to bear for Handel's customers.  When she's not working on a Handel project, Frankie indulges her love of live theatre, music of all kinds, and refinishing furniture.  She is also an enthusiastic cook and will try out new recipes on anyone hardy enough to be her guinea pig.

Tyler Comte, Customer Support Specialist

Tyler comes from Beaverton, OR, but graduated high school in Colorado Springs, CO. In addition to helping the customer support team part-time at Handel, he is working toward a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wyoming. He is also in the Air Force ROTC and expects to receive his commission when he graduates in May 2010.  When he is not working, studying or at boot camp, he enjoys all kinds of sports from backpacking to running to snowboarding. But for him, all of these pastimes pale in comparison to fly fishing.

Mike Cormier, Senior Project Manager

Early in 2007 Mike joined the Handel team as Handel's Senior Project Manager for Arkansas.  Born and raised in Pasadena, TX, Mike moved to Arkansas in 1990. Mike has a degree in management information systems from Central Baptist College, but he is really a die-hard University of Arkansas Razorbacks fan. Before joining Handel, Mike owned two Subway franchise stores and a point-of sale (POS) consulting business for Subway. Mike also worked for four years as a  software engineer for American Data Network, a healthcare consultation business. Outside of work, Mike keeps busy with his family, coaching his kids with their various sports and teaching Tae Kwon Do through a local church. Go Razorbacks!

Hank Googe, IT Manager

Hank joined the Handel family in December 2005 as a project programmer.  He comes to us from Biloxi, Mississippi after surviving hurricane Katrina. Before living in Mississippi, Hank lived in Texas and Alaska. Hank considers Laramie to be a happy medium between these places (and no hurricanes is a plus too!) and is excited to raise a family here.  Hank received his Associate's Degree in Applied Technology from the Gulf Coast Community College and worked for PPS Plus Software in Biloxi, MS. At Handel, Hank works on development of our RiteTrack software as well as on targeted client programming projects. With Hanks education and dedication to work, we are  fortunate to have him on the Handel team!

Lee Pepper, Customer Support Specialist

Lee's story on becoming a Handel Customer Support Specialist began in an unlikely place: on an organic cotton farm near Lubbock, Texas where he was raised.  For a change of scenery and education, Lee went to college for a year in Portland, Oregon, where after seeing the beautiful Pacific Ocean, he promptly joined the Navy.  There, he learned about and began building Baja trucks while stationed in southern California.  Lee then found his way to Wyoming working as a Radio Frequency Engineer.  Not one for Wyoming winters, he moved indoors to attend the University of Wyoming to earn a degree in computer science.  While in Wyoming, Lee found himself a wonderful Wyoming girl whom he has since married.  Lee still likes the outdoors, particularly camping and travelling plus managing a sled dog and a corgi, who help keep him company while working on other unique projects around the house.

Mike Perrenoud, Director of Technical Support

Mike joined the Handel development team in 2005 and is a key player in the ongoing development of RiteTrack3. He is a fireball of energy and enthusiasm about our technology! Mike came to Handel with significant programming experience and "hit the ground running" in working with C# and Microsoft's .Net framework. Prior to Handel, Mike worked as a systems manager at CSDI Center Point, developing large scalable applications from the ground up using Visual Studio.Net. Mike is also a leader in his church and was a very committed boy scout growing up and attaining to Eagle Scout, the highest advancement rank in scouting. Also a dedicated family man, Mike has a wife, and two young children.

Ryan Roan, Software Engineer

Ryan, originally from Aurora, Colorado, moved to Wyoming to attend the University of Wyoming where he earned his degree in computer science.  Ryan joined the Handel team in 2006 and works as a product developer in charge of deployments.  Ryan, a very interesting fellow, can be seen riding his motorcycle to and from work in the brisk Wyoming wind.  He enjoys funny movies, puzzles, and giving his coworker, Josh Becker, a hard time.

 Tracey Rosenlud, Marketing Assistant

Tracey was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, but lived on the East Coast from 1999–2005. She does not have a middle name because at birth her parents thought she was so wonderful and unique, she didn’t need one. (Middle names are for amateurs.) Her passion in life is to pursue a better and brighter future continually, and she is never satisfied with being stagnant. Striving to provide her daughter a life she deserves, in addition to working part-time at Handel as our administrative and marketing assistant, she is attending the University of Wyoming to earn a degree in journalism. Three things she is most thankful for are her daughter, second chances and motivation. Her friends describe her as articulate, ambitious, intelligent and easy-going. The first thing people generally notice about her is her laugh—it is a robust laugh for a young woman. Think of a medieval king with a turkey leg in his mouth chortling at his jester and you get a good idea.  When Tracey is not working or laughing heartily, she enjoys being outdoors (biking, camping, hiking, rock climbing and fishing) and going out with her friends and attending concerts.

Sonja Rowley, Software Engineer

Even while working part time at Handel, Sonja earned her Masters degree in Computer Science.  After finishing her thesis work, she began working full-time as a member of the Handel team.  Sonja has extensive experience with database administration both from her thesis project and from real work experience.  Before becoming a well-published McNair scholar at the University of Wyoming, Sonja grew up in Delta, Utah where she graduated from High School.  When she is not working hard on her projects at Handel, Sonja enjoys backpacking, bowling and pool.

Ben Sims, Deployment Specialist

Ben Sims is a Laramie Native who spent much of his life here, graduating from both high school and the University of Wyoming in Laramie.  After earning his degree in computer science, Ben headed off across the pond to Ireland for two years of travel around the country, living in various Irish cities.  Ben's other travels include Alaska and his most romantic travel occurred in the summer of '07 when he was working in Denali National Park.  One evening, under the midnight sun, he met a woman who recently became his wife.  Although he likes getting away once and a while, Ben enjoys the outdoors in Wyoming, especially while camping, hiking and mountain biking.  We are enthused to have Ben here as part of our Customer Support Team.

Michael Stephens, Director of Software Development

Michael grew up in Gering, Nebraska and moved to Laramie to get a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wyoming, where he has received numerous scholarships and awards. In addition to being a dedicated student, Michael is a member of the development team working mostly with the web version of RiteTrack. Prior to working at Handel, Michael worked closely with his mentors at UW, conducting research in the areas of electrical engineering and assistive technology. He has also held office in the AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics), the JEC (Joint Engineering Council), CSTC (Central Student Technology Committee), and the CETC (Central Engineering Technology Committee). You'll find working with Michael, as we do, that he really gets the job done and he's an all around good kid!

Danny Thomas, Operations Manager

Danny, a native of Laramie, Wyoming, manages all the day-to-day operations of Handel, key to both the internal and external activities of the company. She also facilitates the company’s financial management, procurement activities,
product documentation and quality assurance. Before joining Handel in 1998, Danny was the office manager for Aspen Tree Software, a school registrar with the Douglas County School District in Colorado, and manager of her husband's contracting business. Danny is no less than a "godsend" and is the glue that holds Handel together - her hard work and dedication to the company is evident to both the staff internally and to our clients.

Travis Waters, Deployment Specialist

Born and raised in the wonderful town of Laramie, Wyoming, Travis moved to Cody, Wyoming to finish High School then decided to enjoy a little culture shock by moving to the Dominican Republic for two years.  He returned to Laramie to continue his
education where he is studying Computer Engineering and Spanish.  He enjoys long walks on the beach and watching beautiful Wyoming sunsets with his wife, though he is learning to adapt to the mountain meadows again.  Travis loves to dance, read and
some of his favorite television shows include Sesame Street, Talespin and Fraggle Rock.  Travis can be spotted working with Handel's customer support team and searching in earnest for a nice beach in Wyoming.

Noelle Wernsman, Administrative Assistant

Noelle grew up in Haxtun, Colorado but came to Laramie five years ago. She will be graduating in May 2010 from the University of Wyoming with a master’s in public administration. While she continues her schooling, she is offering her great abilities to Handel as a part-time employee helping with marketing and administrative tasks. One interesting fact about her is while she was working on her undergraduate degree she studied in Hawaii for a semester and spent much of her time at the beach. For some reason, her undergraduate work took a semester longer than she expected and she cannot wait to go back and visit sometime soon!  Since there aren’t many beaches around Laramie, when Noelle’s not working or in class, she enjoys playing the piano, watching movies, and learning how to be a better cook! Watch out Julia Child!
