The new software system the Iowa State Training Schools will be implementing is geared to manage the admissions, treatment and discharge processes of the schools’ clients. By basing the system for both locations on people and organizations, the new RiteTrack® software provides an efficient and accessible overview of the clientele, employees, counselors, probation officers or anyone else whose information is in the system. It’s not just limited to people; in addition all organizations that are associated with the client including police departments, county courts, social service departments, and even the locations where the client is placed are all managed within the schools’ new software. No longer will case workers need to jump from Excel to Access to any other program to follow and manage clients. “Using RiteTrack will allow us to spend less time on paperwork and more time on the most important part of our organization: our clients,” said Lynn Allbee, Treatment Program Administrator.
The new RiteTrack® system provides the school administrators with extensive control over what information is available to whom and who has control of various parts of the case.
Some features that are in the system include:
- Case workers can delegate a client to appear in an easily accessible navigation bar that can be referenced from almost any screen that a case worker is working in.
- Case workers can identify problems, objectives, set goals and identify types of services to provide to clients
- Case workers can track and manage each step of a client’s treatment plan
- Case workers can attach a client’s vital documents like a birth certificate, pictures of tattoos or scars, insurance information or any other forms that are needed.
- Case workers can associate required documents with organizations in the system as well.
