Human service organizations manage a colossal amount of information for the services it provides to clients. “The field of Human Services is broadly defined, uniquely approaching the objective of meeting human needs through an interdisciplinary knowledge base, focusing on prevention as well as remediation of problems, and maintaining a commitment to improving the overall quality of life of service populations. The Human Services profession is one which promotes improved service delivery systems by addressing not only the quality of direct services, but also by seeking to improve accessibility, accountability, and coordination among professionals and agencies in service delivery,” said the National Organization for Human Services (NOHS).

The RiteTrack Challenge is an annual contest for Handel employees to use the RiteTrack framework to build functionality that is creative and not currently a part of RiteTrack. This was the third annual challenge, and one of our most successful and innovative contests yet.
The Alliance and UNCA 2011 National Conference in Washington, D.C. was informative and useful to human service agencies of varying kinds. Sessions spanned tips on nonprofit advocacy strategies, program funding, fundraising, treatment, youth services and many more topics that could not possibly listed in short order. Quite an interesting session from the conference was Disruptive Forces: Driving a Human Services Revolution. This study seeks to offer ways in which nonprofit organizations can be successful in responding to disruptive forces. The Alliance for Children and Families conducted research and identified six disruptive forces:
This is a letter sent out to tribal associated organizations and affiliates of the Self Governance Communication & Education (SGCE) organization in Ferndale, Wash. This letter asks the President to propose a budget to Congress for the fiscal year (FY) 2013 that "includes full contract support and joint venture staff funding to strengthen tribal self-governance, support economic self-sufficiency, and honor the government's agreement with Indian Tribes."

I’m standing on the wing of a plane while it’s in flight—just walking along as if the feat were nothing. But this is just my imagination; I’ve never really walked on the wing of a plane while it was in flight. However, I have always been a thrill-seeker.
