Cathedral Home for Children is a wonderful organization right here in Laramie, Wyoming, the headquarters of Handel Information Technologies, Inc. This year, they are celebrating their 100th year of dedication to the community and to the youth of Wyoming.
Cathedral Home for Children started in 1910 as an orphanage providing shelter for children around the state of Wyoming. In the last century, the agency has developed into a full service residential treatment facility that serves troubled and traumatized youth, including those that are deaf or hard-of-hearing. In addition to those services, Cathedral Home provides education for children there through the Mae Olson Education Center. This full service school is accredited by both the Wyoming and California Departments of Education.
Those they serve experience treatment devoted to breaking the cycle of violence, despair, and failure. Both through their Crisis Center located within Laramie, as well as at Cathedral Home’s main campus just outside of Laramie. Cathedral Home’s structured, family oriented environment provide what the children need to build healthy relationships and get them back on the path toward being healthy adults. Those relationships they build at Cathedral Home serve them well for the rest of their lives.

Part of their success has been the working relationship we have had with Cathedral Home since 2000. They implemented a RiteTrack enterprise case management system so they could manage all their children, employees, and information from one spot. We have worked with them since then to make sure they can take care of their children in the best way possible. As their needs have changed, we have been able to change their RiteTrack to meet those needs. This has saved them both time and money because they can avoid the high costs that come with buying another system. Cathedral Home of Children is one of our oldest customers and we at Handel salute the time and dedication to all the children of Wyoming.
