Shelley Clingan, Social Work Intervention Program Manager at the Washington County Juvenile Detention Center in Arkansas, won the Social Services Worker of the Year Award at the annual National Symposium on Juvenile Services. Shelley, said she was very overwhelmed and honored when she received the award. The Line Staff of the Year was developed to recognize the significance of line staff workers and detention services professionals on the lives of at-risk and delinquent youth, and is awarded on an annual basis to individuals responsible for the direct supervision of youth in an in-custody environment. In order to be eligible, the person is nominated by facility administrators. Washington County has been using RiteTrack for several years in both their juvenile detention facility and in juvenile court.
