Yakima County, Washington to Implement RiteTrack

Yakima County Juvenile Court (Yakima CJC), nestled in the fine city of Yakima, Washington and within the best apple country in the world, has been looking for a management system for their operations. Yakima CJC provides a complete range of services to its juvenile offenders in their Juvenile Justice Center where a juvenile can be detained in a state-of-the-art center, or diverted out of the justice system into a diversion program. They also provide probation services to their juveniles with probation officers and planned releases.
About 250 miles away in Bellingham, Washington, the Whatcom County Juvenile Court Administrations has been using Handel’s RiteTrack management system successfully for years, so Yakima, with similar processes and workflows, took a look at Whatcom’s proven system and liked what they saw.
With a little bit of work, Handel will configure a RiteTrack system to fit Yakima’s workers’ and probation officers’ specifications, so they too will have an excellent, digitized management solution soon!

Handel Hires Ben Sims for Customer Support

Ben Sims is a Laramie native who spent much of his life here, graduating from both high school and the University of Wyoming that is in Laramie. After earning his degree in computer science, Ben headed off across the pond to Ireland for two years of travel around the country and living in various Irish cities. Ben’s other travels include Alaska and his most romantic occurred in the summer of 2007 when he was working in Denali National Park. One evening under the midnight sun, he met a woman who recently became his wife. Although he likes getting away once and a while, Ben enjoys the outdoors around Wyoming, especially while camping, hiking and mountain biking. We are enthused to have Ben here as part of our Customer Support Team.
