Douglas County, Nebraska JAC (www.douglascounty-ne.gov/jaccms/) went live on their custom RiteTrack Juvenile Assessment system on January 1 of this year. 

This assessment center designed to serve as a focal point for comprehensive assessment and case management. Their JAC Specialists use RiteTrack to assess the youth's risk and manage all aspects of their case from initial interview to release and review. All juveniles arrested or cited and released by law enforcement are brought through this assessment center and entered into RiteTrack. 

Through RiteTrack, they track and manage all the juveniles to provide earlier and more efficient prevention and intervention services to the juvenile when they first enter the justice system. Through excellent JAC Specialists and their efficient use of RiteTrack, they are able to impact the lives of the juveniles more positively and divert them from a path of serious delinquency. 

Because RiteTrack works as they do, Douglas County, NE JAC is able to keep the same processes as before. RiteTrack just makes the processes more streamlined and has eliminated some of the major pain points dealing with double entry, keeping staff notified of next actions in a case, as well as maintaining a robust reporting for their administrators and staff. The security they have in place limits information as needed, but does it in a way that is not intrusive nor cumbersome to their work.

Plus, with RiteTrack, their solution grows with them, and never becomes "legacy" or "old". As they change, their RiteTrack solution changes with them. No longer do they have to replace their "old" system because RiteTrack will always work the way they do.
