Handel's Annual Family Picnic

Handel had its Annual Picnic this year on a beautiful August summer day in Centennial, Wyoming. The annual picnic is a chance for Handel staff, friends and their families to get together for a day of food, drink and fun. After eating a gorgeous meal, the children “competed” in sack races, water balloon toss and egg carrying games. After the kids were through, the big kids had their turn with their games. Probably the most notable game was the “Handel Obstacle Triathlon”, a relay race including crawling, riding mountain bikes, swimming across a cold pond, running, and finishing by making a basket. Aquavit and traditional beverages were not absent from the challenge, as well as spinning ten times before heading to the swimming part of the race. For the 3rd year in a row, David, Casey and Rich won the race.

Handel Cleans Adopted Section of the Laramie Greenbelt

On June 8th, a beautiful Friday afternoon, Handel employees gathered at their adopted section of the Laramie Greenbelt, a scenic bike/walking path in Laramie that follows much of the Laramie River as it winds its way through town. Handel has adopted a section of the green belt for several years now and took part in its regular litter garbage pickup. After a couple of hours and several garbage bags full, Handel left the greenbelt it adopted spic and span so it can remain the useful community asset that it is. Handel and its employees regularly takes part in community events and activities.
