Arkansas Department of Youth Services to Implement RiteTrack

Arkansas Department of Youth Services to Implement RiteTrack

Handel Information Technologies, Inc. has signed a major contract with the State of Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Youth Services (DYS) to re-engineer its information systems. Over the next 8 months, Handel will be implementing its RiteTrack information solution into the operations of Arkansas DYS. Arkansas chose RiteTrack because of its expansive set of features, its flexibility to be customized specifically to DYS’ needs, and its architecture, which is compatible with existing information technology already in place at DYS. RiteTrack will assist DYS and its affiliated providers with a variety of processes including intake and assessment, client management, case management, treatment planning, reporting, billing, and outcome tracking. In addition, in contrast to other human services information systems, RiteTrack extends beyond just client management by incorporating personnel tracking, applicant tracking, and other people processes, which Arkansas DYS will also be able to utilize. “We are very excited to be working with the Arkansas Department of Youth Services. This is the first time that RiteTrack will be deployed on a statewide basis and we are obviously thrilled about it,” says Even Brande, Handel President & CEO. “This will be a tremendous project for Handel because the staff members at DYS truly recognize how they can use RiteTrack to leverage their entire operation, not just their client tracking process. Implementing agency-wide process improvements in Arkansas through the use of RiteTrack will demonstrate how enterprise resource planning (ERP) is no longer just reserved for the corporate world. Government human services agencies can achieve significant operating improvements, as well as cost and time savings by embracing a system like RiteTrack, and I predict that Arkansas DYS will become a role model for other human services agencies in doing so.”
