Software/Database Engineer (Part-Time)
Job Description
Handel IT is a leading developer of RiteTrack, a secure, web-based case management system designed to help tribes, counties, and states streamline their social service and judicial programs. RiteTrack centralizes data, processes, and reporting into a single, easy-to-use platform.
As a part-time software/database engineer you will be working under our Product Development or Customer Relations team and will help assist with deploying our RiteTrack solution to customers. This job is perfect for students who want to gain work experience while going to school. We require a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week. Depending on performance and interest, the role may transition into a full-time position.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with C#
Familiarity with HTML5, CSS, and Typescript/Javascript
Experience with Transact SQL/SQL Server experience
Knowledge of relational databases
Compensation
$18.00-22.00 per hour depending upon experience.

Project Manager
Job Description
Handel IT is a leading developer of RiteTrack, a secure, web-based case management system designed to help tribes, counties, and states streamline their social service and judicial programs. RiteTrack centralizes data, processes, and reporting into a single, easy-to-use platform.
The Project Manager serves as a primary point of contact for both new and existing customers, helping guide projects from requirements and implementation through training and ongoing support. This role requires strong communication, organization, and technical problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple customer needs and projects simultaneously.
The scope and schedule of the position may vary based on business needs and the experience and availability of the selected candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers via email, phone, video conferencing, and in person.
- Coordinate internal and external communication related to the implementation and ongoing use of RiteTrack.
- Gather and document customer requirements and create project design documentation.
- Manage project timelines, priorities, deliverables, and customer expectations.
- Assist with technical aspects of projects, including report design, configuration of dropdown lists, workflows, and other system customizations.
- Train customers on the use of RiteTrack.
- Provide ongoing customer support and guidance.
- Collaborate with Handel IT team members to identify
Some travel within the United States is required to support customer projects, training, and other project-related activities. Travel varies depending on project needs but has historically averaged approximately 5-10 business days per year.
Qualifications
Associate degree or higher
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical skills and aptitude
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Experience with project management
Experience with SQL and general knowledge of relational databases is preferred
Experience with enterprise-level software applications is preferred
Compensation, Benefits & Work Arrangement
Compensation will be competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and the scope of the position.
For candidates located in or near Laramie, Wyoming, the position may be structured as a hybrid role with a combination of in-office and remote work. For the right candidate located outside the Laramie area, a fully remote arrangement may be considered.
