Introducing the New Tribal Police Module in RiteTrack

Handel IT has partnered with dozens of tribal courts, probation offices, and facilities over the years. While RiteTrack has long been a trusted solution for these justice entities, there was previously no standard offering specifically for Tribal Police. Though we have developed custom solutions in the past, we’re excited to announce the launch of a dedicated Tribal Police module, which is now available as part of the RiteTrack software suite.
Made for Usability
Like all RiteTrack modules, usability was a top priority in the development of the Tribal Police module. The system seamlessly links people, officers, vehicles, and police reports, creating an intuitive and highly navigable interface. Users can easily move between records and access all related information with just a few clicks. Police Reports provide a complete view of each incident, including arrests and charges, in a single, consolidated screen.

Designed for the Field
RiteTrack is mobile-friendly, ensuring officers and staff have fast, reliable access to data wherever they are. Whether in the office or on-site, the Tribal Police module was built to deliver complete and immediate access to critical information – anytime, anywhere.

Comprehensive Person Records
Beyond Police Report data, person records capture detailed background and court information. Users can define relationships, such as guardianship, household composition, emergency contacts, and no-contact statuses. Built-in alerts notify staff if a person has a violent history, is a registered sex offender, owns firearms, or has been banned from tribal facilities due to prior involvement with the Department or Court. License history is also documented, including license types, numbers, and expiration dates. Protection orders and warrants are stored in their own dedicated records for easy reference.
Streamlined Incident Management
The Police Report feature brings together every aspect of an incident in a simple yet thorough view. Reports include:
- Date, time and location of the incident (with address and GPS coordinates)
- Officer narratives
- Associated court cases
- Linked individuals and their roles
- Involved officers and staff
- Connected vehicles, each with their own record
Charge information, including original charge, arrest, and police report links.
Arrest information is fully documented including time, location, the arresting officer(s), and decision made. Each arrest can be linked to one or more charges, with associated fines. A detailed status history tracks both police reports and charges, showing how cases progress and are adjudicated. Hearings, attendees, and outcomes can also be logged for complete documentation.

Robust Vehicle Records
Vehicles have their own dedicated records, including VIN, make, model, color, registration history, license plates, and any associated police reports.

Like all RiteTrack software, the Tribal Police module is fully customizable. We understand that each Tribal Police department has unique needs, and we’ve built the system to adapt to those specific requirements. Our implementations are designed to streamline data entry and retrieval, supporting a more efficient and effective force.
