Quinault Indian Nation Sacred Healing Journey Selects RiteTrack to Strengthen Victim Services Reporting
By Tiffany Edmonds
Handel Information Technologies is pleased to welcome the Quinault Indian Nation Sacred Healing Journey program as a new RiteTrack customer. Following a competitive RFP process, the program selected RiteTrack to modernize its case management and strengthen the collection, management, and reporting of victim services data.
Sacred Healing Journey receives funding through the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) Tribal Set-Aside Program and the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Tribal Governments Program, each with distinct data collection and reporting requirements. The program’s existing system made preparing those reports a time-consuming process, requiring staff to supplement system-generated information with data from other sources and manual counting.
With reporting identified as a primary priority from the beginning of the search, the program sought a more user-friendly system that could help staff collect accurate information throughout their day-to-day work and make that data easier to access when reporting periods arrive.
Bringing Case Management and Reporting Together
Sacred Healing Journey will implement RiteTrack’s Domestic Violence/Victim Advocacy functionality to create a more centralized approach to managing participant information, services, case activity, documentation, and reporting data.
Rather than treating reporting as a separate process at the end of each quarter, RiteTrack will allow the program to structure data collection around its reporting needs from the start. Reports can then draw from information already being entered and maintained as part of regular case management.
The implementation will focus on areas including:
• Victim and participant records
• Case notes and service documentation
• Referrals and case activity
• Supporting documents
• Grant and program data collection
• OVC and OVW reporting requirements
• Custom reports for internal and external use
• Secure, role-based access to sensitive information
Reducing the Burden of Quarterly Reporting
For victim service programs, accurate reporting is important not only for meeting grant requirements but also for understanding the services being provided to the community. When information has to be pulled from multiple sources or counted manually, reporting can place a significant burden on staff and create additional opportunities for inconsistencies.
By bringing case information, service data, documentation, and reporting into one system, Sacred Healing Journey will have a stronger foundation for maintaining consistent data throughout the year and preparing required reports more efficiently.
The new partnership adds Quinault Indian Nation to the growing number of Tribal programs using RiteTrack to manage social service and justice program data.
