Handel IT is proud to partner with the Havasupai Tribe as they modernize the operations of the Havasupai Tribal Court with RiteTrack’s Tribal Court Module. Previously relying on pen-and-paper processes, the Court faced increasing challenges keeping pace with its growing caseload. With several hundred cases handled annually the need for a more reliable and efficient system became clear.
Manual processes made it difficult to maintain complete and accurate court dockets. Preparing dockets required several steps, and hearings or actions could occasionally be missed. As a result, approximately 30% of hearings resulted in continuances, often because scheduling details or updates had not been fully captured. By implementing RiteTrack, the Court is transitioning to a centralized, web-based system designed to help Tribal courts manage cases, hearings, and documentation with greater consistency and visibility.

Through the implementation of RiteTrack, the Havasupai Tribal Court will move from paper-based and spreadsheet-driven case tracking to a secure digital system that centralizes case information and court activity. Court staff will enter hearings, actions, and case updates directly into the system, allowing RiteTrack to automatically generate accurate court dockets and maintain a complete record of proceedings.
This transition will streamline daily court operations while ensuring that staff have immediate access to the information they need to prepare for hearings, track case progress, and manage case documentation more effectively. The Court also manages a high volume of both civil and criminal cases each month, further underscoring the need for a more efficient and reliable system.

The Havasupai Tribal Court’s implementation of RiteTrack is focused on strengthening the efficiency and reliability of its daily court operations.
